“He put her head in a bucket of water from the Yarra River,” Ryan explained.

“He was just making normal conversation and she was going blue and purple. She was like a whale. She spat all this water back out. She just refused to die. Dennis did it again three times before he said, ‘Now it’s your turn.’ I said, ‘No.’ She was blue and purple and I didn’t want to see that. I don’t even think I was fourteen. I didn’t really do anything wrong. I was just in a position where I had to do what I was told…or else.”
